These festive squares work as a holiday breakfast special or a refreshing treat at any time of day. The flavour is bright and the texture is hearty and comforting.
Ingredients
- 2 c. oat flour
- 1.5 c. oats
- 1/2 c. coconut sugar
- 3 tbsp. maple syrup
- splash of water
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. coconut oil
- 1.5 c. cranberry sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F, line a dish with parchment paper (adding a little coconut oil on the bottom will help the parchment to stick).
- Press a little over half the batter into an 8-inch x 8-inch pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon to remaining batter.
- Top with cranberry sauce then add the rest of the batter.
- Place in oven, then reduce heat to 325°F and bake for 45 minutes. Best served after refrigerated.
