Fresh Pizza Sauce

This blended sauce is easy to make and requires no cooking beforehand. Use immediately, or divide into portions and freeze for next time.

1 garlic clove, chopped

1 can whole or diced tomatoes (398 ml/14 oz)

2 Tbsp olive oil

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp balsamic vinegar

¾ tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

1 tsp dried oregano

pinch of red pepper flakes

Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Spread on pizza dough as a base for your favourite toppings.
