These little masterpieces are so over-the-top elegant, no one will ever guess that the mousse wasn’t made from scratch.
Chocolate wafer cookies (for the boxes)
Chocolate chips (for the “mortar”)
1 can (240g) dulce de leche
Store-bought dark chocolate mousse
Groundcherries, to garnish
Icing sugar, to garnish
Construct the boxes using melted chocolate as the “mortar” that holds them together. Each box should have a bottom and 4 sides. Next, place a tablespoon of dulce de leche in the bottom of each box. Add a scoop of chocolate mousse so that each box is full to the top; then garnish each with a groundcherry and a dusting of icing sugar.
