POUNDMAKER SOBER WALK—On November 17th at 1 pm, there’ll be a walk from Canada Place in Edmonton to the Alberta Legislature Grounds to raise awareness of Addiction Week. Poundmaker Lodge will also be hosting Round Dance on November 19th. They invite the community to show their support by joining the walk in acknowledgement of Addiction Week affecting our community.

YOUTH PHOTO CONTEST—From November 18th, 2016 to January 15th, 2017, the Musée Héritage Museum will exhibit the winners from their annual “Take Your Best Shot” photo contest themed Old Stone, New Steel. The exhibition celebrates the built environment and has received dozens of entries from St. Albert youth in Grades 3 to 12. On November 19th, there will be the opening reception and award presentation.

ST. ALBERT VOLUNTEER FAIR—On November 19th from 11 am to 2 pm, the St. Albert Community Information and Volunteer Centre (CIVC) presents this fair to get residents in touch with over 40 volunteer organizations. Come and see if you can help your community by volunteering with an organization.

ST. ALBERT CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY—On November 19th, come to hear pianist Jason Cutmore, violinist Vladmir Rufino and cellist Kathleen de Caen bring the society into its seventh season. It’ll be an evening of beautiful music from three talented musicians. Concert starts at 7:30 pm.

ST. ALBERT KINETTES CHRISTMAS HAMPER CAMPAIGN—On November 19th, the St. Albert Kinettes kick off their 50th Christmas Hamper Campaign with a silent auction, door prizes and 50/50 draw. Event starts at 5 pm.

COUNTRY CRAFT FAIR—On November 19th and 20th, SAPVAC will be holding its annual fundraising event. This fair will be showcasing arts and crafts from the Painters’ Guild, Floral Arts Society, Potters’ Guild, Quilters’ Guild and Paper Arts Guild.
