REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE AND CEREMONY—On November 11th, approximately at 10:40 am the Remembrance Day Parade will leave the Legion on Tache Street and will go down the new road St. Anne Promenade and head to the St. Albert Cenotaph on St. Anne Street. The ceremony will begin at 11 am. Arrive early.

SPECIAL REMEMBRANCE DAY—On November 11th, Musée Héritage Museum has a unique way to remember those in the Canadian Services. The public get to try on military gear, helmets and jackets; there’ll be photos and trivia panels pertaining to both World Wars; and there’ll be plenty of activities for children.

MÉTIS WEEK 2016—From November 13th to 19th, everyone is welcome to get to know more about Alberta’s Métis culture. There are plenty of events taking place throughout the week around the Edmonton area—everything from a Louis Riel Commemorative Walk to the introduction of Rupertsland Institute at the MacEwan City Centre Campus.

SALVATION ARMY KETTLE KICK-OFF—Starting November 14th, volunteers will be around the city collecting donations for the Salvation Army’s seasonal community programs. Just follow the sound of the bells to make your donation.
