Need something to do this first week of June? Here are a few options to consider:
June is Recreation & Parks Month in St. Albert. With over 80 parks to choose to visit, you’ll have plenty of venues to enjoy the summer. Every day in June, a scout will be in a park ready to hand out prizes to some lucky people who are enjoying the events put on by the city. For more information click here.
The Art Gallery of St. Albert is putting on a new exhibit called Gary Dotto: Flow of Traffic Theory. It’ll showcase Dotto’s driving experiences through photography, collage studies and sculptural replicas. The exhibit opens June 2 along with the ArtWalk and will be on display until July 2. For more information click here.
EEK! Fest starts June 4 and goes to June 5. Servus Place will hold two floors of everything pop-culture. Meet your favourite comic heroes, battle with zombies and so much more. For more information click here.
We can’t forget the International Children’s Festival going from May 31 to June 4. Plays, hands-on activities, musical entertainment (such as Fred Penner!), food and so much fun and laughter for everyone. For more information click here.
The JDRF Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes is on June 5th at the St. Albert Minor Baseball Association Clubhouse (215 Sturgeon Road). It goes from 1 pm to 4 pm. For more information click here
