WEILLER & WILLIAMS CO. LTD: BUILDING A LIVESTOCK EMPIRE—From now until November 13th, this new exhibit will inform us about an important Albertan story of one of Canada’s largest cattle commission firms. Images and artifacts from Leland (Lee) Stanford Williams’ time at the company will be on display for visitors to study, as well as items from Williams’ deep involvement in Alberta’s horseracing.

BLOOD DONOR CLINIC—On September 23rd, Canadian Blood Services will be holding a blood donor clinic in St. Albert. Make an appointment or drop in. Clinic starts at 3:30 pm and closes at 7:30 pm.

RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY—On September 24th, two new St. Albert neighbourhood parks will be unveiled. Starting at noon, head to the new Lafleur Park for its ribbon-cutting. This park features a new playground, outdoor fitness equipment and multi-use trails. Then at 2 pm, Natalia Park will have its unveiling. This park features a new playground and multi-use trails.

SPRUCE UP ST. ALBERT—On September 24th, help your neighbourhood get “spruced up” by picking up litter. The event organizers are still looking for a few “Neighbourhood Champions” to help co-ordinate the cleanup in your neighbourhood. This event is hosted by St. Albert City and presented by TD Bank.
