There’s nothing like classic vanilla-scented whipped cream to top pancakes, hot chocolate, or fruit salad. Plus, using the hand-held mixer is sure to become the kids’ new favourite kitchen activity.
1 ½ cups whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp white sugar
In a large bowl, combine the whipping cream and vanilla Using a hand-held mixer or stand mixer, whip on medium-high for about 8–10 minutes, or until very soft peaks form. Add in the sugar and whip for a minute more.
Tip! Careful not to over-whip or you’ll end up with sweetened vanilla butter (which might not be all that bad).
