PHARMAKON—On August 4th, take in the opening reception of Brad Necyk’s new exhibit from 6 pm to 9 pm. Necyks’ autobiographical artwork explores the relationship among mental health, medicine and personal identity. Exhibit on display until August 27th.

ARTWALK—On August 4th, the ever popular ArtWalk will showcase the Perron District’s arty side. The VASA Gallery, W.A.R.E.S. Gift Shop, Boutique Gallery Bar and more will welcome visitors on this walk about town to see what our local artists have created. It starts at 6 pm and ends at 9 pm.

EDMONTON AIRSHOW—On August 6th and 7th, head on out to the Villenueve Airport to watch airplane aerobatics and the stunts of FMX riders. There’ll be parked planes and cars, food trucks, a beer garden and an inflatable playground area for the kids.

J.R. PATRICK CLASSIC 3-ON-3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT—On August 6th and 7th, come out and watch these teams play 3-on-3 basketball for a good cause, apart from exercise, as a portion of the tournament proceeds will go towards the Boys & Girls Clubs of Edmonton.
